Donna Zanger

The dbooks company concept started in 2005 when Donna Zanger thought her plans were to be a solo provider. Within a matter of just a few months though, she was bookkeeping full-time; and yet still receiving a constant stream of referrals. Donna decided to form a team in order to continue to assist those interested in her standards of service. And now, after 10 years, she has over 20 bookkeepers on staff serving over 500 individuals and businesses with bookkeeping and bookkeeping related classes.

Prior to 2005, Donna’s first career was with EDS (Electronic Data Systems), where she worked for Ross Perot as a systems engineer, instructor, leader, strategic planner, and Y2K project manager.

She left EDS in 1999 to become a foster parent, eventually adopting her children through foster care. Donna is also a QuickBooks instructor at Baruch College. In her spare time, she enjoys writing music and playing with a local NYC band, golf, camping, and hanging out with her now teenage kids.
