Jillian Hubbard - Co-Creator

Jillian Hubbard is an independent consultant specializing in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), organization development, and talent development.  With over 10 years of experience in consulting, facilitation, and training, she supports organizations and leaders in their efforts to create more equitable, inclusive environments and increase their effectiveness by empowering their human capital.  Jillian’s career spans a range of sectors, including education, nonprofit, corporate, and government.  She has partnered with clients to develop company-wide EDI initiatives and has facilitated trainings on anti-racism, unconscious bias, and inclusive leadership.  She has also worked with organizations to implement equitable recruitment and retention initiatives, develop curriculum for EDI programming, and develop strategic action plans from EDI and talent diagnostic surveys. Jillian’s work began as a facilitator for conversations around racial equity for YWCA Boston and other social justice organizations.  She has partnered with the Verna Myers Consulting Group to provide executives and staff with insight and resources on generational diversity and differences.  In the education sector, Jillian worked with The Equity Lab to develop the Nexus Fellowship, their signature equity leadership fellowship.  The year-long program draws leaders from across the country and provides them with the tools and experience to become leaders for equity within their respective organizations.In addition to the work she does around equity, Jillian also supports organizations both locally and internationally with major change efforts.  In the Netherlands, Jillian and her team worked with The Hague University of Applied Sciences to support the school’s restructuring of a major department.  Jillian collaborated with chief officers and staff at iMentor to develop and implement their first organizational values [principles/statement].  At The American College of Cardiology, Jillian and her team enhanced the organizational change process by providing recommendations to help leaders embed newly developed mission, vision, values, and competency model into the organizational culture. Jillian is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and a certified life coach.  She holds an M.S. in Organization Development from American University as well as a B.A. in Multicultural Studies: Conflict and Cooperation from The George Washington University.
