Shayan Aghourlikhani - Co-Creator
Shayan Aghourlikhani is a co-creator of the body of knowledge and program Wellbeing Creatorship—a practice rooted in nature, agency, and self-leadership. He coaches and facilitates individuals, teams, and leaders—from wellness entrepreneurs, non profits, philanthropic funders, to Indigenous leaders.
Shayan’s work blends pattern change, outdoor adventure and inner transformation. He often coaches and guides clients while taking them out hiking, touring, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and mtn. biking—supporting them to reconnect with themselves, creating new patterns of wellbeing, creatorship and self-leadership. He has also led longer immersive experiences with individuals and groups to remote Indigenous villages deep in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.
Growing up Shayan was a professional freestyle snowboarder sponsored by various brands throughout the years such as: Burton, Nitro, Grouse Mountain, Pacific Boarder, Westbeach, and L1. From a young age he had the opportunity to be mentored by Amazonian healers, gaining their respect and learning about the forest and the Indigenous way of life and wellbeing. He sings in the Yawanawa language and is a multi-instrumental musician. Drawing professional knowledge as a leader and project manager, he has led the construction of various complex projects. Shayan is a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and has an academic background in Construction Management at BCIT, Arts at UBC, and Project Management at PMI.
